In a fast-paced work like K-Pop, it can sometimes get too much for idols, and the pressures of the industry can take their toll both physically and mentally. Luckily, most people are surrounded by others who can make life a lot easier, whether it’s family, members, or staff.
Recently, BTS‘s V showcased just how important that circle of friends is in the latest In The SOOP: Friendcation.
BTS’s V has recently been showcasing his friendship with the members of the Wooga Squad during the newest In The SOOP series.
Since Park Hyung Sik, Peakboy, Park Seo Joon, and Choi Woo Shik became friends with V, they’ve always had a soft for their maknae, and it’s always been showcased no matter what the occasion.
The same can be said throughout the first episodes of In The SOOP. Whether it’s praising V on his visuals, trusting his instincts, or just the BTS idol sharing how comfortable he feels around his hyungs, it’s been heartwarming to see.
In particular, one clip caught the attention of netizens, and it came from the trailer. The Wooga Squad members truly showcased how much they love V when one of the group spots that V is crying. When someone asks, “Taehyung, are you crying?” all the members immediately get up, turning on the lights and checking he’s okay.
Well, the reason behind V was finally revealed during the recent episode of In The SOOP. During the episode, the members had fun watching Our Beloved Summer, starring Choi Woo Shik, and even did some karaoke just to relax.
At the end of a long day, the members all gathered together to fall asleep.
Yet, the quietness of their location meant that it was easy to hear every noise. It meant that Choi Woo Shik could easily hear someone crying and instantly asked, “Are you crying?” When V denied it, a Wooga Squad member asked again, “Are you crying, Taehyung?”
After sensing that something wasn’t right, Choi Woo Shik switched on a torch and lifted the covers off V to see he was actually crying.
As expected from a concerned older brother, Park Seo Joon asked, “Why are you suddenly crying?” Park Hyung Sik was caring as he added, “Taehyung-ah, what are you sad about?”
Of course, considering how comfortable V is around the Wooga Squad, he was very honest as he explained, “I have lots of regrets over the past year.”
Choi Woo Shik seemed to understand what V was talking about but tried to reassure his younger member by explaining, “But that year has passed now.”
Everyone else seemed to feel the same as Park Seo Joon explained, “Then there will be a better year.”
It has definitely been a tough year for many and, just because he is famous, it would’ve been the same for V. Luckily, Choi Woo Shik had some more words of encouragement for V and reassured him that it was normal to feel that way.
We all experience a bad year and have a bad time. Hey, the year of the horse has a lot of luck compared to the year of the tiger. Taehyung, get all of my energy.
— Choi Woo Shik
V has proved that no matter where he is, there is always someone ready to take care of him, whether it’s the members of BTS or the Wooga Squad. It is reassuring to know that V isn’t afraid to share his emotions and that people are ready to listen and share advice.
