TWICE's Jihyo Debuts Her New Hair Color And Brings Back A 90s Hairstyle Trend

TWICE‘s Jihyo recently switched up her look, and her new hairstyle is serving major Y2K vibes by reviving a late 90s, early 2000s trend.

TWICE was recently spotted at Gimpo Airport as they made their way to Japan for their upcoming ONCE DAY fan meeting in Tokyo and Osaka.

Despite the group’s success in Japan and their many Japanese language releases, ONCE DAY will surprisingly be the group’s first in-person fan meeting in Japan.

Nearing their seventh anniversary, they’re finally holding a long-awaited fan meeting on five separate days in Japan to connect with their Japanese fans.

As the members arrived at Gimpo Airport to prepare for their flight, they looked effortlessly chic in their casual airport fashion.

The group looked comfortable and chic, looking trendy in their designer clothes.

It wasn’t just the fashion that caught fans’ eyes; it was also Jihyo’s new hairstyle! Jihyo debuted newly highlighted hair in chunky blonde highlights, an iconic staple of the late 90s and early 2000s.

Close-ups of the group’s leader showed a better look at the trendy new hairstyle. While the previous trend has been to blend highlights in with hair to add dimension effortlessly, this style, however, purposely bleaches the hair in large sections to stand out from the surrounding hair.

Jihyo looked incredible with the new style and paired it with a bright Y2K-inspired outfit with a cropped green tweed blazer, a ribbed white t-shirt, and straight-leg blue jeans.
