BTS showed they are true legends after making history during this year’s American Music Awards (AMA). Not only did they pick up Favorite Pop Duo or Group, Favorite Pop Song, but they became the first Asian group to pick up the most anticipated Artist of the Year award.
Throughout the night, ARMYs in attendance showed their support for the group, yet it seems like they weren’t the only ones who were excited to see BTS.
Although ARMYs couldn’t stop sharing their interactions with the members, which made everyone jealous af, fans quickly noticed that they weren’t the only people at the awards who wanted a piece of BTS!
On the red carpet, various media outlets were dying to chat to BTS about the event. However, they might have had to fight their way through a hoard of celebrities who wanted pictures with the group. Musician Chloe Bailey took her opportunity to get a picture before sharing how much she admires the group as musicians.

If that wasn’t enough, BTS seemed to become the stars of the show even when they were just sitting down. Throughout the event, fans noticed celebrities go out of their way to go and take pictures with the members.
Dancer Jojo Siwa made sure not to waste any time in getting a picture with the group, even if it meant doing it on the stage!
Another moment that showed that celebrities were using the AMAs as their own BTS meet and greet involved Boyz II Men‘sShawn Stockman.
It is no secret that both he and his daughter are huge BTS fans. Yet, when he proved to be #dadgoals by asking the group to take a picture with his daughter, he was such a fan himself that he needed to be part of it as well.
Yet, it wasn’t only selfies celebrities wanted and some just wanted to say hi to the members. One moment that caught the attention of fans watching worldwide was when artist Giveon basically stopped his performance to greet V very politely!
